The Sonia Dress is comprised of 8 different printed silks, all made in India and sourced in NYC's Garment District. The bust cups are cinched at the center front with an adjustable tie and each tie end is adorned with agate charms. No two pieces are exactly the same. Straps are adjustable.
Isis is 5'11" and wears a size 4.

Nancy Funk is a ceramicist based in the Bay Area. The ceramic hands offered here were originally modeled after those of Funk’s son.

Mid-century planter designed by Swiss modernist Willy Guhl (1915-2004). Guhl worked with everyday materials (such as the concrete used in this planter) and simple, elegant forms, demonstrating the power of restraint. This planter was part of a series designed for the Swiss manufacturer Eternit, which first commissioned Guhl in 1951.

Side Table in Acrylic by Marseille-based Dorian Renard. Part of his, "Beauty in Distortion" collection, which explores the optical and practical possibilities of molded acrylic. The project grew out of Renard's interest in glass--a material in constant flux as it is given form. Renard was interested in how the unique properties of acrylic (its pliability at a lower temperature) allowed him to develop forms unachievable in glass. The project aims to shift our perception of this industrial material, emphasizing its alluring beauty.

Dorian Renard is a French designer based in Marseille, France. His practice oscillates between a fascination for materials and their mediated meanings. Through a sculptural and sensitive approach, Dorian’s work challenges our perception of materiality in a sensitive yet conscious way. Driven by an exploration of the subversive use of craft techniques, Dorian has developed a distinct language that bears the signs of being shaped by human hands. His latest creations revive plastic inspired by traditional blown glass techniques. Dorian’s work oscillates between a sculptural and functional approach.

A pair of handmade, glazed ceramic candlesticks made by Laura Welker, an artist and designer based in Berlin. Each pair comes with a set of candles and a "shoe box" decorated with stamps and hand drawing. 
Each pair is hand-formed and unique. Candlesticks are 5" tall and 6" long.
Signed on the underside of the shoe.

This handmade mask was collected by Carmen Gheorge (b.1976, Bucharest) in Vrancia, Romania in 2014. Gheorge named him "Bobita." Bobita is made of goatskin, lambskin, horn, and fabric.





Gheorge, based in Berlin, has made frequent trips to her native Romania to collect folk masks used in annual celebrations between Christmas and New Years. The masks are handmade by masters of the craft whom George has sought out in their villages across the Carpathians, clustered in Bucovina and Transylvania. The craft is part of a pre- Christian tradition involving dance and mock fighting, during which the masks, made of animal fur, fabrics, bones, and beads are often destroyed. Related to the more famous Krampus monster in Austria, Gheorge’s masks depict elderly figures who are empowered to mark the transitions from life to death, death to rebirth. Gheorge notes that contemporary mask makers have moved away from the fearsome creatures of the past, choosing instead to embrace comical, and even tender, figures.
