Wonderfully wonky candlesticks by ceramicist Abbie Le Rooy. These are hand thrown on the wheel then dangled upside down whilst the clay is still malleable to allow the stem to naturally twist and taper. Fully functional but with a surrealist sculptural quality to them. Available in a Dolomite white, Wood Ash green, or matt black glaze. Please note these vary in size from approximately 25-30cm

East London based ceramicist Andrea Roman says “My work is characterised by the use of texturised clay and the absence of glaze in a large portion of the surface of my pieces. Straight lines and simple forms allow me to focus on the clay body itself and experiment with texture and tone.” Large serving dish with deep straight sides finished in an earthy moss green stain.
