Utility & elegance ground our first fully-designed bag, the 'Coverlet Catch-All.’ The bucket shape references the simple, compact tool bags used by lineworkers since the 1950s. In place of stiff canvas, our fabrication makes use of linen & wool overshot coverlet scraps, c. 1800s. This softer form accommodates a wide range of belongings, and its full satin lining provides additional structure & protection. Finally, each bag closes with a unique tab & button closure to keep possessions secure. Carry the bag open as a classic bucket, fold & button it shut, or remove the strap to hold as a clutch. -Built from 19th-century overshot coverlet scraps (linen/wool) -Black canvas-backed satin lining (deadstock cotton/rayon, USA-made) -Adjustable & detachable “Shaker tape” strap (100% cotton) -Antique grain sack base (100% cotton) -Antique corozo button closure -Polished nickel hardware -9.5” tall, 6” diameter *Please note that these photos show one particular ‘Coverlet Catch-All.’ Each bag will vary slightly in color, pattern, & other idiosyncrasies.
